Is this drawing a fantasy of what the child sees or may imagine in the sky or the fantasy of the child looking at the skies unawares as the moon looks back. His sly wink lets us know, it is a secret, just between us.
This is one of the greyscale images originally created for the book "Nailing Together Bits of Chaos: Jerry-Rigging a Life", poems by Donna Brua. The book features 73 of my drawings, mostly as full page images.
