Artist's Description
Inspired by a poem of the same name. This was a poem that in the end didn't fit in the book. It reflects upon the death of a child with the lines, "yesterday I stooped to kiss your pale soft cheek," today "I kneel to plant impatiens beside your stone". I returned to the Victorian era for the lamb on the stone and repeat the image in the clouds. the impatience planted by the stone trail across the landscape to the horizon.
My signature is part of the image and will appear on the final print.
The "fine art America" watermark does not show on the image you purchase. It is only to protect the image online. My images are all copyright protected and are not to be copied or reproduced in any way without written consent.
