Description
This black and white version of this image was inspired by the last lines of the poem "On Becoming" --"How will I emerge when this itch under my skin urges me out of places grown small and wanting?" This color rendition became the cover of Donna Brua's book of poems "Nailing together Bits of Chaos--Jerry-Rigging a Life." see:http://bitsofchaos.com/books.html

As I was reviewing others of your works, reviewing and enjoying, I saw a thumbnail size of this in the Gallery lists and stopped. I thought at 1st it was a woman clad in a Kimono robe with a circular slightly Nouveau looking border behind her...closer inspection taught me what more surprises you had in store for me today. Perfectly named butterfly winged creature that had a most interesting history to it as well! How creative you are! I'm glad I found your inspiring art Carol!
