This drawing represents Morning, life's beginning and the hopes, aspirations and possibilities of new life ahead--reach for the stars. Here all is possible, safe and new, ready to leave the nest.
This is one of the greyscale images originally created for the book "Nailing Together Bits of Chaos: Jerry-Rigging a Life", poems by Donna Brua. The book features 73 of my drawings, mostly as full page images.

Michael African Visions
I like this artwork. I think the development of children and child birth is such an important aspect of human evolution which doesn't get much attention in the art world but it's actually such an amazing subject. This artwork reflects on this amazing topic. Beautiful expression of tranquillity on the child's face.
